Electric Bike Helps in
Charity Fund Raising

 

Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer studies. It carries out scientific research to help prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. It has discovered new ways of beating the disease that have saved hundreds of thousands of lives around the world. Cancer survival rates have doubled in the last 40 years, and these figures continue to improve all the time.

Handing over the batton at Wheathampstea

 

John Curtis estate agents in association with Hamptons International supports Cancer Research UK with all sorts of fund raising and thereby making a contribution towards beating cancer sooner.Last month saw Steve Mayes, Sales Manager at the Wheathampstead office of John Curtis take part in an inter office relay where a baton travelled almost 100 miles by various modes of
transport raising an impressive £1,687.00+ in aid of the charity.
Leigh Stephenson from the Electric Bike Vault in
Wheathampstead village donated an e-bike for the day’s event which was ridden by Steve. Leigh told Minimagazines,“We were very pleased to be involved with this really worthy
cause and delighted that so much was raised from the event.”
