Traditional Sunday Lunch Guide
Sometimes it’s just great to go out for a Sunday lunch. Take the family, take your friends, indulge in a full roast lunch with crispy roasties, Yorkshires, gravy and all the trimmings. Here you will find our guide to local places for you to try from village pubs to golf clubs, and hotels. Although some places will have a table available on the day it’s probably worth booking in advance.
The Gibraltar Castle -Batford
Once part-jail, The Gibraltar Castle now offers a somewhat warmer welcome! It's a historic pub dating back to 1799, with charming original features including the oak beams, bread ovens and open fire. Traditional Sunday lunch menu from 12 noon.
